IMAP over SSL

If I do a packet capture I can see that the yahoo e-mail connector is NOT using SSL exposing my e-mail password to trivial network sniffers. Since Yahoo does support IMAP over SSL how do I enable this on the IMAP connector?

    Can anyone confirm whether this is an issue - I am suprised that SSL is not a feature to enable?
