Drag and Drop ... I guess my idea of this is different then your idea

I thought you could click the drag and drop option and it would list everything on your old computer and you would simply drag it or click on it and send it to your new computer. All I got was a C: with a list of folders I have know idea what they are. I would think it would show all my excel files in the my documents but nothing. So, I just send all the trash items to my new computer because I'm on a time crunch to get things moving.

Does anyone really know how you can just transfer one file from your old computer to your new one. I'm saying one because. Lets just say I have music but I don't want all the albums moved over.

Same here. Does ANYBODY from company answer questions here at this User Community? (I rec'd this program and cable (for free) in order to review it and so far, all I've managed is to connect a Win10 and a Win11 laptop. Somewhere in the blurbs about the product, it says it behaves like Windows Explorer for drag and drop feature...however, that's not my experience so far. I right click and drag and NOTHING happens. I expect a menu to open that says something like: copy here, or move here, etc. NOPE. Gilch. I've got files and folders to move (not ALL my stuff) and I need to KNOW how in order to offer up a decent, helpful and honest review at a very important place on the internet! I am anxious. It shouldn't be this complicated should it? I just want to TRANSFER SOME FILES FROM ONE WINDOWS LAPTO TO ANOTHER--QUICKLY AND EASILY!! PLEASE, PLEASE, SOMEONE TELL ME HOW ASAP. TODAY'S DATE IS AUGUST 9, 2024. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.
