File transfer

Will this program allow us to move files in the direction Win 7 to Win XP? The Bravura literature mentions that it "adds many features including drag and drop and more complete two-way transfer support" compared to Windows Easy Transfer.

  • Yes, Easy Computer Sync will work for any combination of Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7, for both 32-bit and 64-bit editions. It gives you the option to either synchronize entire folders at a time (e.g. synchronize “My Documents”) between computers, as well as specify the direction of the sync (both directions, from, to), and also includes a “drag and drop” section of the program, that lets you manually drag and drop files and folders between the computers.
  • The drag and drop feature is just what we were looking for, because it's not dependent on OS or direction. However, once connected via Easy Transfer cable, a laptop and desktop computer only see each others "C" drive. Our target is a network file share on our file server. Is there a way for the laptop to 'see' anything besides the desktop "C" drive?
